Charlotte Betts jatkaa 1600-luvun Englannista kertovan romaaninsa tarinaa, päähenkilönä The Apothecary's Daughter -romaanin apteekkarin tyttärelle syntynyt tytär Elisabeth, joka haaveilee taidemaalarin urasta: The Painter's Apprentice (Little, Brown, 2013; ISBN 9780749954598).
