Kuvaus kulttuurishokista kun koko elämänsä palveltavana ollut nainen joutuu hierarkian alimmaiseksi tyhjentämään yöastioita ja pesemään lattioita on paikoitellen herkullista luettavaa, vaikkakaan tarinan uskottavuudesta ei kovin isoja pisteitä voi antaa. Roolileikki toimii kuitenkin kohtalaisen näppärästi, ja tarinassa riittää käänteitä toisensa perään.
