Yleisesti ottaen on sanottava että Child osaa kirjoittaa, mutta mitenkään onnistuneeksi tätä novellia ei voi sanoa, voisi jopa ihmetellä miksi tarina ylipäänsä on tullut julkaistuksi. No, teksti sinänsä on helppolukuista ja paikoitellen ytimekästä, eli ei Child kirjoitustaitoaan täysin menettänyt ole.
